Lexicon operates from two key locations in Texas and New Jersey. Lexicon’s corporate headquarters are located in The Woodlands, Texas just north of Houston. The Lexicon campus covers more than 300,000 square feet and 15 acres. This site serves as Lexicon’s primary research site to discover and validate the company’s drug targets and test drug candidates in preclinical research. This site also contains Lexicon’s extensive biotherapeutics program for discovering antibody and protein drugs. Our clinical development and regulatory team is also based at our corporate headquarters. Approximately 450 employees are located in The Woodlands.
Lexicon’s campus in Princeton, New Jersey is the home of Lexicon’s small molecule medicinal chemistry and preclinical development efforts. This campus covers more than 70,000 square feet containing more than 90 medicinal chemistry hoods. Our internally-derived chemical compound library consists of more than 450,000 compounds. This site serves as Lexicon’s primary medicinal chemistry site to create new chemical entities for therapeutic development. Approximately 100 employees are located in Princeton.
